It’s World Malbec Day! Fill a glass of lovely Argentinian wine and celebrate!
Malbec is one of our favorite varietals. It’s a strong red wine mainly produced in the Mendoza region of Argentina. The Malbec grape is from France, where it was used more as a blending grape in a Bordeaux wine. It found a great home in the higher altitudes of Argentina. It makes me think about getting myself (and others) to Argentina and just enjoy its amazing wine whilst looking at the landscapes and taking part in all things cultural. I know that Global Basecamps organizes tours and trips to there, I might just have to go and look at that!
We have found great bottles of Malbec Wine under twenty AND under ten dollars. Hit your wine store on the way home to take the Moan out of Monday and celebrate World Malbec Day today!
